Morning all,
I managed to source a descent set of rims for my 1982 300GD, as the PO drilled and tapped new holes in the hubs for Jeep wheels with the 127 pcd.
When I wanted to fit the new wheels with the correct PCD and centre bore I was horrified to discover that the "hub centric rings" on all 4 hubs had been ground off.
Just enough of the rear "ring" and front 3 prong "lips" were left to centre the drums and discs.
I presume this was done to accommodate the Jeep wheels with a smaller centre bore, which in effect meant the wheels weren't hub centric and the load was soley on the wheel studs.
I am thus in need of 2 x front hubs and 2 x rear side shafts.
Any leads will be most welcome.
Thanks
Jerry
