GL/ML 164 Air Suspension

Hi All

I see that there are a few GL/ML owners of the 164 chassis here. If you are looking for airsprings for your car you could consider contacting Trucktec Automotive in SA. I bought some front air struts from them at quite a reasonable price considering current exchange rate.

I investigated a few options including refurbished units and MBSA. Options below:
1) MBSA wanted 25k ex VAT ex fitment per side
2) Bilstien were about 18k ex VAT ex fitment per side
3) Recondition shock (no airbag) about 4k per side ex VAT ex fitment per side plus Arnott airbag only 7k ex VAT ex fitment per side
4) Fully reconditioned with Chinese airbag about 8k ex VAT ex fitment per side but you must supply the old ones to them or pay another 2.5k ex VAT per side

The Trucktec ones are 10k ex VAT ex fitment per side
