Gas vs. Diesel for a 4x4 – Which One Do You Prefer?

There’s always debate about whether gas or diesel is better for off-roading. I’m curious—what’s your preference and why?

In South Africa , we prefer Diesel. Just bear in mind that petrol engines can endure much more abuse than any Diesel ever can. But Diesel economy and that low-down torque, is what's my choice.
