Hi All!

Trust you are all well.

I am looking at changing the suspension of my 2015 G350. I have been doing my research mainly online and have come to the following setup that I want to implement.
1. KONI RAID Shocks front and back.
2. Eibach OCR HD Springs

From what I have learnt during my research this will ensure a much softer ride on my G Wagon. Mine drives REALLY hard and as this is my everyday car, I would like to do something about it and enjoy it even more than what I do now.

My current setup has Stock Springs and Bilstein Shocks. I have BF Trail Terrain Tires on a 275/65/18 configuration with 30mm spacers as my Rims Offset is ET63 and had rubbing on the Pittman Arm.

What is planned for my car:
1. Front Runner Roof Rack will be coming up with some accessories.
2. Roof Top Tent
Thus weight on vehicle will increase.

What are my great local options for my G Wagon? I have received a quote on an OME setup, but as per my research the KONI EIBACH combination is apparently more comfortable.

Some views or opinions and help would be great appreciated.

My Requirement is:
1. Keep current ride Height, NO lift as it will NOT fit into my garage.
2. Drive Softer Day to Day.
3. Still be able to offroad on occassion. No HECTIC Overlanding is planned.

Hi Werner,

I trust all is well?
I can absolutely recommend you go for the Koni Heavy Track option, they are serviceable and tunable, and very comfortable.
good on road, better off road,
a bit more expensive, around R14k for the set(not bad for a year ago), but worth it
i replaced mine about a year ago and all good.

please send my regards to Margit..

cheers

Gerard

Thanks Gerard! Send me your number please! Wanna discuss Suspension with you. As i understand the RAID is the Big Brother of the Heavy Track and even more advanced? Is that right?

Will definitely send regards to Margit! Hope she knows which Gerard? HEHE

Good day Werner,
I've just purchased an exact same 2015 G 350 and I am looking to do the same on the suspension as you planned. I'm interested in what you finally decided on and if you were satisfied with the result. Regards Nick

Hi All,

Where do you purchase the Eibach OCR HD Springs? I'm looking to have them fitted with the Koni Raids on my 2017 g350.

Thank you!
