No - not mine :)

I like the looks (and the sound) of the G63, but i’ve never seen the sense in these beasts. I see them as a car for someone who can’t make up their mind whether they want a performance car or an offroad vehicle... ;-)

Lets face it, not everything motoring makes sense - some things rather appeal to the senses! I can relate to and enjoy such powerful vehicles but mine, subject to my purse limitations, were mostly chosen for there consumption, safety, value retention and such boring considerations. I must also admit to rather enjoying driving a big truck, or powerfull farm tractor, the bigger the better, more than a lowly sports car with hard springs. Must be some inferiority complex coming through!

I recall seeing a video a few years ago of one of these more powerful G's, probably in some Arab country, be given a burst of acceration (and a jerk of the steering), and be flipped onto two wheels without a ramp. As for off-roading, such performance is not needed.

I did not know there was a 270 cdi 463. It must be quite a machine. In the street in Cuenca, Spain
