If no money exchanged hands then keep the vehicle and get a better deal. No exchange took place then you are free to cancel. That note is a guideline only applies if you want the vehicle licensed. Can still register without which they obviously dont want to confuse people with too many aspects...
I've bought loads of bikes from webuycars and one car, some on auction. Put them on my name and took for rwc pass or fail no matter. Rwc not required to change ownership. You can even pay up the licence to keep it up to date and only receive the disc when you get Rwc. Why that middleman...
I'll see what vdo here has available after payday... Thanks for that Samil idea. Could be useful. The tachograph is insanely priced overseas and not an option. I'll make a list after better inspection of everything. I think it has electric button activated vacuum actuator 4wd and difflock...
Was not looking for a Pinz but one seems to have found it's way into my driveway. Advertised briefly and standing just 5km from me I had to go look. That was it. Borrowed and stole what I had to to make it happen.

MB dealer here in Cape town set tappets wrong on om617a resulting in engine that was perfect before with damage and dismantling after. Yet to take head off. Must find good engineer still. Very sad.
You are likely better off in the bush and in Africa with your old G rather than at the dealerships.
Prices have fallen in line with overseas prices and recent international demand. People are prepared to ship and export/import good examples. Cabrios are sought after.
Very dependent on condition and originality. Those are becoming very collectable. R120k for one that needs a bit of work- R280k for a perfect one is my guess. I see asking prices for 460Gs even higher. Do those ones priced over R300k sell, I dont know.
Andrew i think your chicken coupe looked a bit better than the one I just bought as a birthday gift unseen in East London. Too far to drive from Cape Town trailer and all and come back empty handed. (One way trailer almost double price) Dont know yet what the exact plan is just know I want a...
