I pulled up behind this guy in Bredell the other day. Maybe he can be of assistance. Picture below
Dean told me this glowplug issue is common on the new Ford Rangers, BMW and others. Apparently it is the wedding between Allu head and steel plug material.

Had nr3 replaced a week ago by Enduro Gearbox (Dean). And as per warnings the plug broke when removing. It is not required to remove the heads. Dean knows/uses someone that does the complete removal and threads repair.
I got a SERIOUS NORTON virus detect when I tried to pen the above website. All over the screen
Now NORTON wants me to renew and scan. I have never used NORTON
With the correct ECU programming you will be fine. Speak to Enduro Gearbox in Alrode. Dean 073 8853464. Welcome to mention my name.
He did for me

- ECU programming (and correcting programming on DPF removal done by others)
- Turbo replacement
- Service.
I have a 9000 Warn from my previous G (1981) that is in storage and would like to fit it on the G463. I looked and looked and looked at the 463's front bumper... There is a gearbox cooler fitted inside, also with the fog lamps and airbag sensors. Just to remove the bumper will take about a day...
Complete replacement from a rearend accident scrap GL. There were quite a few changes required to make it a perfect fit as per original G. Happy still now.
If the pollen filters not being the culprit I will recommend the Aircon guys in Eastleigh, Edenvale. They have redone the complete AC in my 350 and gave a one-year warranty. Very good workmanship.

The CD changer is part of the radio in front on the dash. There is no optical cable that I can think of or see. All copper and plenty of them. I have not started on the radio unit on the dash as all seems to be located at the amplifier area.
Tx JJ. That is a good idea.
Regarding the...
Removed the amp yesterday and dismantled everything. Flimsy IC that. The whole heavy housing acts as a heat sync...
No moisture visible anywhere and no fungy or any funny critters visible. Did give the whole system a good blowjob with a hairdryer on cold setting. Connected the IC without the...
My car's spare wheel is facing outside to the door, hence the weight close to the bolts. The standard mounting bolts are also too short to fit otherwise.
I think the peculiar fitting of your spare is the culprit.
The sound issue sorted itself out during the winter months after the last comms (above) to near perfect. Hence, no contact to JJ.
Lately all the issues are back, I seems it runs with the wet season we are now experiencing. No sound at all the last two weeks.

MB plays tricks to their clients
First they say there is no unit available anywhere and one needs to be manufactured which can take more than six months to arrive. See my posts in the opening above.
Then I started searching and with your advise I ordered in Netherlands via ebay. Just...
Earlier (above or elsewhere) JJ mentioned this cooler and I stated on my G it is used for engine oil. I apologize, JJ. It is indeed for the gearbox oil cooling. Dean confirmed it too. You were absolutely correct. On the later models as ours this cooler is OE. Being close to the skid plate one...
